The 2nd Edition of the Food Chemistry, Processing & Technology Summit is an international in-person conference that will be held from April 05–07, 2027, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The conference brings together researchers, industry professionals, academicians, and policymakers from around the world to promote research, innovation, and collaboration in food science and technology. It serves as a global platform to discuss emerging trends, advanced technologies, and practical solutions shaping the future of sustainable food systems.

Conference Program

The conference program covers key areas including food chemistry and analysis, food processing and preservation, food safety and quality, functional foods and nutraceuticals, sustainable food technologies, and innovations in food packaging. Through keynote lectures, invited talks, oral and poster presentations, panel discussions, and networking sessions, participants will gain valuable insights into both cutting-edge research and industrial applications.

Scholarships/Awards:

FCPT-2027 is committed to supporting graduate students, undergraduates, and postdoctoral fellows.

FCPT-2027 Scholarships

Up to 1,000 Euros funding per recipient

FCPT-2027 is offering scholarships of up to 1000 Euros to Students and Postdoctoral fellows. The scholarship is intended to reduce the financial burden of participating in FCPT-2027 by helping pay for travel, accommodation, and registration expenses.

The scholarship will be awarded to the presenting author on the basis of abstracts submitted for poster presentation. Scholarship recipients will be selected by the Organizing Committee based on the content and quality of the submitted abstract of the research work.

Eligibility: To be eligible for a scholarship, you must be:
  • A graduate student or postdoctoral fellow currently enrolled in an academic institute
  • The applicant should not be more than 35 years
Review Criteria:
  • Relevance to the meeting topic
  • Scientific novelty of the research work
  • Concise, clear, and informative introduction & objective
  • Grammar and spelling
  • Clarity of results and conclusion

Best Poster Award

Honoring outstanding research presentation

FCPT-2027 will also host a poster competition to encourage the innovative research work by the graduate, undergraduate students and post-doctoral research fellows who are chosen to present their work in the form of posters at Food Chemistry, Processing & Technology Summit (FCPT-2027).

Application Process:

Anyone whose abstract has been accepted for the poster presentation will be considered for this award. Evaluation will be done by the Organizing Committee Member of FCPT-2027. The posters will be evaluated in terms of Coherence, Awareness of Previous Work, Attractiveness, Self-Explanatory, Text Visuals, and Overall Impression.

Eligibility:
  • A graduate student or postdoctoral fellow currently enrolled in an academic institute
  • The applicant should not be more than 35 years
Award & Ceremony:

The award will be given to the maximum of best 3 posters depending upon the number of participants. The winners of the poster competition will be awarded with a certificate and honorarium during the closing ceremony of the conference.
